Friday, December 2, 2016 Morning Crude Comments from MB

Crude taking small breather, shorts feel more comfortable coming back in above $50-$51. Bulls need to build a floor above $50, bears need to return that as a ceiling.

Thursday, December 1, 2016 Morning Bond Comments

Good day. Again using Mar 17 on the 30 year T bond. Well, Treasuries closed the month as they have trended for much of the month, lower, and now look to be opening the new month in the same direction. The calendar is busy today and I’m not ruling out a bounce in bonds at some point today. My favorite trade is shorting at the resistance zone mentioned.

Thursday Morning Crude Comments from MB

Hello. Continuing with a more macro view in CL. For me, a little more challenging to “read” crude over the last couple sessions given the volatility. My favorite idea is to buy $49.50 today with scales in .50 increments up to $51.00.

$51.00 (**) Target 2 + Resist

$50.50 (*) Target 1

$50.00 (**) Pivotal

Wednesday, November 30, 2016 #PreMarket Morning Crude Oil Comments from MB

Hello, the crude oil market is subject to headline rumor and fact today, overall I am disinterested with micro levels and am trying to look at the larger picture. With a $4 buck bounce since yesterday midday, its hard to take this market extremely seriously. However, I think the best opportunity will be when/if buy the rumor becomes sell the news. $49.20 from last Tuesday almost printed this morning, seems to be an area to lean on for a pivot through this week. I lean toward selling below.

$52.00 (***)

$50.00 (**) Weekly Target Above Pivot + some psychological resistance

$49.20 (***) Pivotal

$47.20 (*) If short below $49.00, I’d target here initially

$46.25 (**) Target on runner

** I don’t mean to be so biased, typically I make every attempt to refrain, however, I wouldn’t be buying here although it can certainly go higher, but I see risk/reward better for a sell the news**

Tuesday, November 29, 2016 Morning Bond Comments from MB

Good morning. Heavier calendar could lead to a volume pickup. I like fading the resistance areas but also want to buy in the support zone with smaller size. Of course, some of the 7:30 am cst eco releases could change some of this outlook.

I’m still using Dec 16 numbers on the US T Bond

Hello again. The buy the rumor last week seems to be resulting in a sell the news now as OPEC deal seems less certain. I’m watching the Jan 17 contract.
