Impressive rally in crude oil overnight. I can’t find anywhere to sell with forthought, and I have no conviction to step in front of this trend, therefore looking to buy a dip. I like buying the levels below today, risking .20 to make $1.00

I don’t have an early pivot to set bias today. I like selling $53.00 on a bounce and adding at $53.20, using a .25 stop to earn $1.00. I think buying $52.13 with a .20 stop to make .50 is a fair trade.

Friday, December 16, 2016 Morning Bond Comments from MBSocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Return to orderly Treasury future trade yesterday. The 30 year trying to build at least a temporary floor. Over the last few weeks it has been normal to see about three sessions sideways to higher leading to a 2-3 handle bounce and then sellers reinitiate. I think the path of less resistance today, is weakness during the morning at least.

I like being short right now 148’24 as volume comes in at the open with a 8 tick stop looking for the first lower target. I like buying 148’12 small, with the potential of adding at 148’02, risking 10 ticks on the average, while looking for a bounce back to 149’00, or 24-25 ticks.

I like selling 149’16 and adding at 149’24, using a 12 tick stop on the average while looking for 32 ticks.

149’16 (**) Second Target + Better Resist

149’08 (*) First Higher Target + Small Resist

149’00 (*) Early Pivot

148’12 (**) First Lower Target + Some Support

Wednesday, December 14, 2016 Morning Crude Comments from MBSocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Hello. Volume is still in the Jan CL future so I am continuing to use that. Crude seems to be lingering lower to fill the gap from Friday’s close. This market is technically bullish, as well as fundamentally and seasonally bullish (short term, with some variations). Crude could be vulnerable to some excitement today with EIA # and FOMC.

Only place I am looking to buy is $51.50, risking .25 to make $1.00. I like selling $53.10, risking .20 to make .50

Seems like crude gave bulls a gift yesterday giving them an opportunity to buy in regular session. Now bulls need to make higher lows and higher highs. Crude $50 gave way, intraday charts showing lower highs and lower lows, now the question is, how sufficient is a 5% pullback?

If the morning is slow to moderate in terms of volatility, I like buying $49.70 with small size, risking .25 to make .50, or selling the $50.45 price risking .25 to make .75.

Wednesday, December 7, 2016 Morning Crude Comments from MBSocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Crude now having trouble with the $51.00 handle, increasing the likelihood we get a test of the $50.00 psyschological/technical level today. Given the EIA # today, going to have to widen entry criteria at least somewhat depending on volatility.

My ideas for the day do not include holding any position into the 9:30 # without a break even stop. However, a first hour (8:00-9:00 cst) or 10:30 - later test of $50.00 I like buying risking .15 to make .45. I’d also attempt to buy $49.70 anytime today, risking .25 to make .75.

From the sell side, I like selling $51.00 and adding at $51.20, risking .25 on the ave, while targeting .75.

One of my ideas triggered yesterday, buying $51.10 looking for a .50 move, and we just barely got that overnight, and this morning Crude is looking weak after making a lower high, now it’s making a lower low as it appears that the $50 price could be tested soon.

I think over $50, and I still have to look to buy dips. My idea for the day is buying $50.20 small and adding at $50.00, risking .25 to make .75.

Thoughts and #CL_F Levels for Monday, July 27, 2015

Thoughts and #CL_F Levels for Monday, July 27, 2015SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

CLU5 will now have to first get above 48.15-48.35 zone then above 48.60-49.10 zone in order to negate the stair step formation continuing lower to 46.60 then 45s.

If above 49.10 there is a good amount of resistance at 51.05-51.25 zone which must be regained otherwise any rallies &/or pops this week will likely just be intraday Short opportunities.

Thoughts and #CL_F Levels for Thursday, July 16, 2015

Thoughts and #CL_F Levels for Thursday, July 16, 2015SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

The 51s support for CLQ5 remains key for swing Long potential; however current bias is still more on the neutral side while above 51s and below 53s but as I said earlier this week everyday day that goes by above 51 I favor the swing Long potential more and more.

If a breach and close below 51 I also think downside could be limited to 48.50-47.75 zone so my interest in Shorting CLQ5 will not come until higher levels.
